DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DELHI

Upon  your  arrival  at  New Delhi  International  Airport,  you  will  be  warmly  welcomed  by our  representative  at  the aerobridge holding a placard with your name. Our dedicated representative will guide you through the immigration process, help you retrieve your luggage, and ensure a smooth passage through customs. Following this, you will be transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, our representative will assist you in check-in at the hotel.  Delhi stands as the capital of modern India, a vibrant metropolis where the old and new, the ancient and the modern, come together in perfect harmony. Its strategic location has been a major factor in its selection as the seat of power by successive dynasties throughout history. As a result, Delhi is a unique amalgamation of seven cities, each with its own distinct character and charm. The city has witnessed the rise and fall of many empires, leaving behind a wealth of monuments that pay tribute to the grandeur and glory of bygone eras. Few cities in the world can boast such a profusion of architectural styles as Delhi.

DAY 2: SIGHTSEEING OF DELHI 

Following breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a tour of Old and New Delhi.  Shah Jahan founded the city of Shahjahanabad, now referred to as Old Delhi, in 1648. The famous Red Fort in the heart of Old Delhi was once the most opulent fort of the Mughal Empire and it boasts the Diwan-i-Am, Hall of Public Audience, and the Diwan-i-Khas, Hall of Private Audience. Opposite the Fort is the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world, built by Shah Jahan to dominate his city.   Embark on a captivating journey that begins at the iconic Jama Masjid, where you will then take a leisurely cycle rickshaw ride through the charming backstreets of Old Delhi.   Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy and rich history of this ancient city, while indulging in a delectable tasting of famous street food of Delhi like Jalebi (Funnel cake) & Samosa.  Next, marvel at the grandeur of the majestic Red Fort as you drive by, before delving into the architectural splendor of Lutyen’s Delhi. Explore the elegant India Gate, a poignant War Memorial Arch, and pass by the stately Rashtrapati Bhawan – the President’s Residence, the imposing Parliament House, and other significant Government buildings nestled in the heart of New Delhi.

From here you will drive to Humayun’s Tomb - the second Mughal emperor’s mausoleum or the blue print of the Taj Mahal. It is one of the best Mughal buildings in India and an introduction to the Mughal architecture.   Before we conclude the day, visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple), where you will have an opportunity to see the holy shrine of Sikhs. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is blessed by the eighth Guru of Sikhs – Guru Harkrishan Sahibji. Originally a bungalow owned by Raja Jai Singh, this huge complex features a devotion center, a large pond (for holy dipping), a missionary school, an art gallery, a charitable hospital and a free kitchen service – called Langar. Listen to the holy hymns recited by the priests as you visit the community kitchen that serves free meals to all throughout the day.   At Gurudwara Bangla Sahib you also have an opportunity to visit the community kitchen where you can learn how to make Chapatis (Indian flatbread).
Notes: Visitors are required to take their shoes off and cover their heads (with scarves/ stoles) before entering the temple complex.

DAY 3: DELHI – AGRA

Following breakfast, you will be driven to Agra which is approximately 204 Kilometers & 04 Hours. On arrival in Agra, check-in at the hotel.

The city of Agra, the epitome of the grand Mughal era, still reigns in the public imagination as the embodiment of regal grace, majestic architecture, and power. Agra is renowned around the world as the city of the Taj Mahal, but this  royal  Mughal  city  also  boasts  many  monuments  that  exemplify  the  pinnacle  of  Mughal  architecture.  No journey to India is complete without a visit to this former capital of the Mughals and the city of the Taj Mahal, the world's most beloved monument. With its relaxed atmosphere  and its abundance of architecture, handicrafts, and jewelry, Agra is one of the most remarkable cities on the planet.

Later  proceed  to  visit  Agra  Fort  which  is  an  outstanding  example  of  Mughal  architecture  and  the  seat  and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. It was built in the late 1560s by Emperor Akbar, with later embellishments by Jehangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grandson. The gates and walls are constructed of red sandstone and the Fort is surrounded by a moat.
The late afternoon is at leisure or shopping in the local market.

DAY 4: AGRA – JAIPUR 

Proceed for sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal (remains closed on Friday). Visit the spectacular Taj Mahal with its perfect symmetry and romantic history. Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, this stunning mausoleum  has  be-come  the  de  facto  tourist  emblem  of  India.  It  was  constructed  by  Emperor  Shah  Jahan  in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal. 

Later, return to the hotel for breakfast before you head to Jaipur, which is approximately 240 kilometres away and will take around 5 and a half hours. On the way, be sure to stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri, a historic city with a rich cultural heritage.

Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned red sandstone city constructed by Emperor Akbar as his capital, was a veritable fairytale. Its ruins remain in remarkable condition, allowing us to envision the grandeur of court life during its heyday. On your arrival in Jaipur, check-in at the hotel.

The majestic city of Jaipur presides over the captivating desert state of Rajasthan and its people, surrounded by rugged  hills,  each  crowned  by  a  formidable  fort  and  beautiful  palaces,  mansions,  and  gardens  scattered throughout its precincts. The palaces and forts of days gone by, which were once the backdrop of royal processions and grandeur, are now living monuments, seamlessly integrated into the lives of the people of the Pink City. There is an ageless quality to Jaipur's bazaars and its people, and its historical past revives the legends of the ancient Rajputs.

DAY 5: JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

After your breakfast at the hotel. You will explore the city of  Jaipur.  Drive to the ancient capital of Amer (also known as Amber) to see the fabulous Amer Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city (uphill and downhill by Jeep). Maharaja Mansingh, the most successful General of Mughal Emperor Akbar, began the construction of the majestic Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was built in Jaipur, Amer served as the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the tranquil Moat Lake. Ruins and remains are scattered across the Aravalli hills, and sprawling crenellated walls encircle the area. To reach the main gate, visitors  can  ascend  the  fort  in  jeeps.  Inside,  the  chambers  and  hallways  of  the  palace  are  renowned  for  their exquisite design and decoration. The town surrounding the Amber Fort is also home to beautiful small temples and the step well known as Panna Meena. Originally occupied by the Meena tribe, Amer was once a flourishing settlement.

The tour highlights include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which boasts a collection of Rajasthani costumes, armory of Mughal and Rajput swords of varying shapes and sizes with intricately carved handles. Additionally, the museum  houses  a  plethora  of  antiques  and  artifacts  belonging  to  the  ruling  family,  including  a  vast  array  of weaponry. Furthermore, the art gallery features an impressive collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia, and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin, and Sanskrit. Proceed to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.

DAY 6: JAIPUR – DELHI

Following breakfast, you will be driven to Delhi which is approximately 260 Kilometers & 4.5 Hours. On your arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE 

Following breakfast in hotel, you will be assisted by our representative with transfer to the airport for your flight to onward destination.  Later our representative will assist you inside the airport with the check in formalities, immigration process.
